How we got here
5 Star GC Ltd. started in 2015 with a straightforward thesis: the construction industry has plenty of contractors who bid low, start late, and explain less than they should. What Manitoba homeowners and businesses needed was a builder who treats every project the way a careful craftsperson treats their own — with honesty about scope, clarity about price, and discipline about schedule.
Since then we've delivered basement transformations, whole-home renovations, framing and structural work, level-five drywall finishes, and commercial build-outs across Winnipeg and the surrounding communities. Every project runs the same way, regardless of size: itemized scope, written selections, milestone-based payments, and a single point of contact from first walk-through to final inspection.

Level-five drywall finishes. Engineered structural work to Manitoba code. Materials rated for Zone 7A conditions. Work that reads right under raking light five years after the job closes.

One point of contact. Questions answered inside 24 hours. Weekly progress updates during construction. A documented punch list at the final walk-through — and the punch list actually gets closed.
